From early on he had liked Zelda - due in part to his friendship with her descendant - and for a while he had admired her from afar, in the way one might admire an idol. After all, what wasn't there to admire? She was beautiful, wise, kind, graceful, friendly, and a princess. They were just friends, but she did occasionally turn up in a few of his fantasies. He had even given very brief thought to the idea that she might actually like him - after all, she had kissed him like three or four times by now, but then they were just on the cheek, but that was still a kiss, but just on the cheek, but that wasn't normal, right? but maybe it was just something she did, since every time it had been when he'd helped her out or given her something, but they were kisses, but etc etc. But he had let the idea drift of, telling himself to be content with the friendship and getting continually distracted by everyday life.

After the dreams, though - well, it would be an exaggeration to say that she was constantly in this thoughts, but only a small one. He was certain that they had both enjoyed it in the dream world, but what did that mean for the waking world? Would she have accepted if it hadn't been a dream? (Accepted twice?) The dream world's logic seemed something like...being drunk, perhaps - one might do things that one wouldn't normally do. But he had wanted it, and his feelings were real - did she really like him as he did her? Or was she mortified by what she had done? Should he have tried to resist her more? Were they together? What did you say to a girl after having dream-sex with her? Were you still a virgin if you had dream-sex? (Why was he thinking about that that wasn't important! But he did want to know. It was important to him!)

Should he apologize for being ungentlemanly? But she had been okay with it - was she still okay with it? What if apologizing made him sound like he wasn't okay with it? What should he say?! What should he do?!
